Angela Troy was reborn into eternal life surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 16th, 2023. Born on December 26, 1927 to Josephine and Dominic Delconte, Angela was raised and educated in New Britain CT. Angela met and married the love of her life, Matthew Troy, on February 1, 1947. Matthew was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp and they are now reunited for eternity.
Angela and Matthew spent their early years living in an apartment above the family business, Troy Bakery, located in the Park Hill section of Yonkers.
Angela spent many years working at the Junior Town Children's Clothing Shop. In her later years, she worked for Yonkers Office of the Aging. Angela was known for her exceptional baking skills (especially her cookies) and spent most of her time visiting with family and friends. She was active in St. Mary's Parish in Yonkers. Angela enjoyed the Yonkers Senior Center and the DeHaven on the Hudson Group.
Angela will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother to her children and a warm and generous grandmother and great-grandmother. Angela was predeceased by her husband Matthew Troy on April 17, 2003 as well as her 3 siblings Sofie, Thomas and Dominic (Butch) Delconte.
Angela is survived by her children Patricia Mondesando (Pat) and Mary Spano as well as her grandchildren Christopher Mondesando (Debbie), Stephanie Mondesando, Christina Delaney (Ryan), Leonard Spano (Suzanne), and her great grandchildren Brianna Mondesando, Sophia Ottaviano, Olivia Mondesando, Francesca Ottaviano, Kylie Delaney and John Delaney, as well as dozens of nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 21, at Annunciation Church (475 Westchester Ave, Yonkers, NY 10707) at 11:15 AM
Interment to follow at Gates of Heaven 10 W Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532
