Obituary of Lisa Guglielmi

Lisa "Lusetta" Guglielmi, age 99, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on January 23, 2024. Lisa loved life and will be remembered for her sense of humor, wit, and style. As the reigning matriarch of the family, Lisa leaves behind her legacy as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and sister. Lisa was born on April 4, 1924 in Strangolagalli, Italy to Assunta (Venditti) and Domenico Querqui. In 1939, Lisa married the love of her life, Domenico "Mimmo" Guglielmi. Seeking a better life, they immigrated to the United States in 1968. Lisa and Mimmo remained inseparable until Mimmo's death in 1988. Lisa is survived by her children Gino Guglielmi, Angela (Lino) Coccoli, and Elena (Franco) Crecco; her grandchildren Lisa (Vito) Foto, Claudio (Mary) Guglielmi, Gina (Joe) Tetto, Rita Guglielmi, Stefano (Edna) Crecco, Michael (Dama) Guglielmi, and Gino Guglielmi; her great-grandchildren Marc (Kristin), Amanda, Frank, Anthony, Joseph, Marisa, Gabriella, and Luke; as well as her great-great grandson, Carter. Lisa is also survived by her beloved brother, Antonio Querqui, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her three brothers Bennardo, Giannino, and Giulio. Lisa's unique character and individuality will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Services will be held on Friday, January 26 from 4-8pm at the Sinatra Memorial Home at 499 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, January 27 at 9:30am at St. John's the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704.
