James was born on October 3, 1944 in Montclair, NJ. His Proud parents were Ethel Partington Brown and Cecil V. Brown. Jim graduated from New Rochelle High School, and went on to receive an Engineering degree from Iona College.

Jim's passion was in aviation, where he obtained his private pilots license. He enjoyed his multiple aircraft for over 50 years.

Jim is at peace, re-united with his beloved wife Rosemary M. Brown.
