As a child, Jack and I experienced different stages of life due to our age gap of almost a decade. However, there was one summer during my high school years when our daily routines coincided. This memorable summer was filled with humorous conversations and some work. Jack had a knack for delivering witty remarks on the spot. Although we pursued our separate paths afterward, there were always subtle signs of his presence. For instance, during the first five years of living in Mamaroneck, about a decade later, I didn't pay much attention to locking my door. One day, returning early from the city, I was greeted by Jack lounging in my living room, offering me a slice of pizza he had just ordered for lunch, saying, "Welcome home. Rocky 2 just started." It dawned on me that this had been happening for some time. Though I had noticed minor differences upon returning home, I hadn't given them much thought. Impressed by the situation, I enjoyed a slice of pizza before rushing off to my doctor's appointment.

Jackie, I remember years ago when I first started weightlifting and couldn’t seem to put on size. I reached out to you because I knew weightlifting was also a way of life for you too. You provided me with a diet/workout plan that helped me so much and I still use that same plan all these years later. Thank you for the wisdom and being a great trainer from far away. You will be missed.

Jack was so kind and compassionate when my sister Nicole died. She, like Jack, left us way too soon. I hope that the Cozza family can feel even a fraction of the love and concern that Jack showed to me and my family flowing from me to them right now. If it’s possible, I’m pretty sure that Nicole and Jack and Kara Alfarone will all reconnect to stir up some trouble on a Byram Hill Road in the sky.

Jackie, you were a great cousin growing up and even though we grew apart over the years I always enjoyed your company. I remember the times we shared by Nanny and Grandpa’s house playing football and just horsing around. I am glad I had the time I shared with you and talking to you only a few weeks ago.. You will be forever missed and only God knows how am feeling right now. Rest in peace my little Bigger cousin. Love you. Your cousin Robert

I met Jack at preseason camp at Marist and for some reason I couldn't stop busting his chops" Italian pretty boy go jump in your IROC and cruise the Jersey Shore" "Prettiest girl on the team " etc
So one day he just loses it on me(I had about 25 lbs on him) he throws me into the wall and before he could hit me, He broke out in hilarious laughter! Friends and Brothers forever from that day forward. One of my favorite team mates at any level of football.
