Bambina was born on November 10,1935 in Pietraferrazzana Italy to Elia & Ricardo D'Agostino. In 1955 she married Antonio Caferra, who predeceased her. Together they raised three sons and in 1966 immigrated to the US and settled in Yonkers, NY where she worked as a seamstress. Bambina was an amazing cook and baker and her greatest joy was being a mother and a wife. She was her happiest when all her children and grandchildren were gathered around the table enjoying one of her homemade meals. Her friends and family will remember her as a kind, selfless and generous soul who was always ready to lend a hand. She is survived by her sister Lori Austin her sons Donato, Luciano, and Aurelio Caferra, her daughter-in- laws Karen, Lillian and Misako. Her grandchildren Nicole Maccariello, and her husband Robert, Andrew Caferra, Ryan Caferra, Jason Caferra and Erina Caferra and her great granddaughters Lucy and Vera.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to a local food pantry.
Visitation will be on Monday April 22, 2024 from 4-8
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2024 at Annunciation Church 470 Westchester Ave
Crestwood, NY at 11:30 AM
