Mariana Lopez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister entered the gates of Heaven on April 24, 2024. She was born on August 31, 1946 in Chone Manabi, Ecuador to Regina Esther María Mejía Bravo, and Federico Yonfá Chang. She married Claudio Lopez on August 5, 1967 and they had 4 sons—Albert, Claude Marwin, Ainsley and Geoffrey. She was a stay at home mom most of her life. She loved family life and being the neighborhood mom and often times took her sons, their friends and any neighborhood children to local beaches, pools and amusement parks and loved feeding them all. She loved cooking all the traditional Spanish and Chinese dishes but loved seeing others enjoy eating them even more. She is survived by her husband, sons, 4 grandchildren (Gabriela, Aiden, Stella, and Ainsley) and daughters in law, Yasmin Nunez Lopez, Lauren Costabile Lopez and Christina Barry Lopez. She will be greatly missed, especially her warm, loving smile and her giving, compassionate heart. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any charity of your choice.
