Please share a memory of Arthur "Otto" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Arthur Revellese, lovingly known as Otto, died peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Otto, the third youngest of Leonard and Lucy Revellese, was born December 11, 1926 in Yonkers, New York. He was a life-long Yonkers resident, and was the beloved husband of Constance Revellese, whom he married in 1952. Together they raised their family in Yonkers
Otto is survived by two of his three sons whom he cherished, Arthur (Cathy) and Robert (Christy). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lenny (Brittany), Dawn (Mike), and AJ, as well as his great grandchildren, Lenny, Lily, and Daniella. Otto is predeceased by his wife Connie, his son Lenny, and his granddaughter Danielle.
Otto is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Otto is predeceased by his sisters and brother, Dominic Revellese, Angie Spirelli, Madeline Rizzo, and Lucille Tucci. He is survived by his sister, Virginia Cioppa.
Otto was a member of the Teamsters Local 456 for 44 years. He began his career as a truck driver and worked his way through the ranks. He became Vice President and then the leader of the union. Otto was a selfless boss who always looked out for his members. He was known for his tough guy exterior, but inside he had a heart of gold. He was a jokester, too, and relished in pranking his family and friends. Although he dedicated his life to Local 456, his family was his greatest accomplishment. He enjoyed spending time with them, as well as helping them in any way that he could. Driving his wife and grandkids all over Yonkers was just one of the many ways and it gave him such joy. The entire family will miss him dearly, but take comfort knowing the strong and mighty patriarch of our family is at peace and will rest in the comfort of our Lord.
