Please share a memory of MaryAnn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
MaryAnn Furci, age 89, of Mount Kisco, died peacefully Sunday, May 26, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. MaryAnn was born and raised in the Bronx, the daughter of the late Anna M. (Urgo) Cali. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Cali. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Vincent Furci, whom she met at a church dance which led to a long and happy marriage just shy of 67 years. She is also survived by her devoted daughters Maria Furci, Patricia Giambalvo (Mike) and Michele Flynn (Mike) and her adoring grandchildren Michael, Nicole, and Russ Giambalvo. MaryAnn would also want all to remember Clara and Ilza, her companions and caregivers who provided comfort in her final days and became extended family.
MaryAnn was employed by The Readers Digest in Chappaqua where she was fortunate to work for a great company surrounded by wonderful people and most importantly books, which fed her lifelong passion of reading. She loved to read on the beaches of New Jersey and Florida. MaryAnn, a long time parishioner of Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Mount Kisco, was a friend to all and she touched the hearts of everyone with whom she came in contact. She greeted family, friends and strangers with a smile, affection and a positive word. She was devoted to her family absolutely and they to her. MaryAnn never forgot her roots and reminded everyone that the great people all came from the Bronx. We will always be blessed by her memory and she will be forever in our hearts.
