Obituary of Sigurd Olsen

Sigurd Olsen (AKA Ole), age 89, a long time resident of Yonkers died Saturday, June 22, 2024. Sigurd was born September 17, 1934 in Norway, the son of the late Frederick and Nora (Salversen) Olsen. He was married to the late Annie Gannon in NYC and they had no children. Sigurd was employed by as a painting contractor in Westchester County from 1962 to 2004. He was predeceased by his brothers Magne Arnfinn Olsen (2014), Jon Olsen (2020 and his sister Helen Torresen. He is survived by several nieces and nephews living throughout the US and Norway.

Friends may call on Saturday from 9:15AM to 10AM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
