Obituary of Irving E. Rodriguez

Irving E. Rodriguez, a devoted family man and lifelong Yankee fan, passed away peacefully at the age of 75, surrounded by his loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication that touched the lives of all who knew him. Born on March 31, 1949 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Irving grew up with a deep passion for his family, the New York Yankees, and later in his retirement years golf and spending time at the beach. Professionally, Irving dedicated over four decades of his life to the United States Postal Service, where he was known for his reliability, diligence, and warm demeanor. His commitment to his work and his colleagues earned him the respect and admiration of everyone he worked with. Above all else, Irving cherished his family. He was a loving husband to Nelly, his partner of 55 years, and a devoted father to Lizbeth, Irving Jr., and Rey. His grandchildren, Cas, Samantha, Benjamin, and Olivia, were the joy of his life, and he took immense pride in watching them grow and succeed. Irving will be remembered for his genuine kindness, his infectious laughter, and his ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. His legacy of compassion and his gentle spirit will continue to inspire all those whose lives he touched. A memorial service to celebrate Irving Rodriguez's life will be held on Wednesday July 3rd, 2024 from 10 am -1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the pancan.org and/or IER nonprofit. Our family is working on setting up this nonprofit to help other families with loved ones in hospice. We will donate proceeds of the IER nonprofit in Irving Rodriguez's memory. Thank you for your contributions.
