In Loving Memory of Ms. Carmella Savarese
Carmella (Millie) Savarese, aged ninety-seven, lived a remarkable and full life. She was a beacon of love, wisdom, and strength to all who knew her. She shared a special bond with her two sisters and brothers-in-law predeceased Maria & Joseph Rinaldo and Elizabeth & Bill Graziani. She carried the memory of her brother Edward, who was tragically killed in World War II, and nephew Stephen Rinaldo who passed suddenly in 2013 close to her heart. Carmella is survived by her special niece Rosemarie Rinaldo and was extremely fortunate to have her patience, love and day-to-day caring and also survived by her nephew William Graziani.
She is loved by all her great nieces and nephews.
She was a huge fan of Country music and Johnny Cash songs were often being hummed as she toiled in the kitchen. She was a fantastic baker. Her pecan cookies and Italian Easter pies were most memorable. She would produce dozens of pies and batches of cookies and distribute them to friends and family. Her journey was filled with countless memories, from her early years to her golden days, each chapter marked by her unwavering spirit and kindness. She touched many lives with her generosity and warmth, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished moments. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
