Obituary of Edwin B. Heyes, Jr.

Edwin Burhans Heyes, Jr., a long-time resident of Mt. Kisco and Somers, died Monday, May 17, 2010, at Northern Westchester Hospital. He was born to Nellie and Edwin Heyes in 1916 in New York City. He attended Collegiate School in NYC, Williams College in Massachusetts, and received his Masters in Business Administration at NYU. He served as a Sea Bee in New Guinea during WWII. He retired from Chase Manhattan Bank after 42 years of service. He was married 55 years to Mary Frances, who predeceased him in 1996. Ed was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and drove for F.I.S.H. for many years. He is survived by sons Tom and Michael, daughters Susan and Patricia, grandsons Scott, Kevin and Jeff, granddaughters Meghan and Michelle, and great-grandson Joey.He was predeceased by grandson Cpt. Joe F. Lusk II and great-granddaughter Elliot. Donations can be made in Edwin's memory to the Cpt. Joe F. Lusk II Memorial Fund at www. joelusk.org.
