Alba Marie Johnsen, age 77, of Freehold, NJ formerly of Yonkers died Thursday, May 20, 2010. Mrs. Johnsen was born December 10, 1932 in Yonkers, NY the daughter of the late Philip and Maria (Lucidi) DiMarco. Alba graduated Yonkers High School and the Katherine Gibbs School of Business, She lived in Yonkers until 2000 before moving to New Jersey to be close to her daughters. Alba was a devoted member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, singing in their choir. For many years she was employed as a Municipal Court Clerk for the Village of Bronxville until her retirement in 1995. She is survived by her loving daughters Susan (Jeffrey) Fanok and Dawn( John) Potter. Her two sisters Anne DeNicholas and Adriana Lombardo. Six grandchildren Katherine, Kimberly and Jeffrey Fanok; Matthew, Michael and Sarah Potter. Also surviving are 8 nieces and nephews.Friends may call on Sunday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 at Asbury United Methodist Church, Scarsdale Road, Crestwood. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church in her memory.
