Estela Ortiz, age 85, of Yonkers died Saturday, May 22, 2010. Ms. Ortiz was born August 24, 1924 in Havana, Cuba the daughter of the late Antonio Ortiz and Rafaela (Gonzalez) Diaz.She lived in Cuba until 1952 before coming to Yonkers. She is survived by her loving daughter Mirtha (Kenneth) Porteous. Aunt of Olga Marrero and several nieces and nephews in the United States and Cuba. Sister of Roberto Ortiz of Havana. Estela was predeceased by 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Grandmother of Christopher II and Jennifer Porteous. Great Grandmother of Tayla and Christopher Porteous II. God Mother of Teresa Martin and Lucy Marrero. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7PM to 9PM at Sinatra Funeral Home, Inc., 315 S. Broadway, Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 at St. Peter's Church, 91 Ludlow Street, Yonkers.
