Michael Clohosey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, October 1, 2024, at the age of 90. Born in Tullaroan, County Kilkenny, Ireland, Mike came to New York City in 1955 on the Queen Mary, like many Irish, to build a life and raise a family. He did more than that. Mike worked on the Kilkenny Castle as a young man, apprenticed in London, contributed to the carpentry of the World's Fair in Queens, NY, and later continued building many family members' and friends' homes, which all demonstrate his impact on the lives of those who were blessed to have known him.
Mike also served in the United States National Guard and was a proud member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Bronx Division.
A devoted parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Armonk, NY, Mike and his wife Mary Clohosey (nee Kelly, deceased 1981) moved from Riverdale to Armonk to raise their 4 children in St. Patrick's Parish. Mike is also predeceased by his second wife, Eilis O'Sullivan.

Mike's grandchildren were blessed with many years of his presence and grace. Michael Pearce, Tara Pearce, Shane Bracken, and Siobhan Bracken will forever know what a good man is.
