John T. Dadabo, age 86, of Jacksonville, FL died Friday, October 18, 2024, peacefully at home. John was born April 27, 1938 in the Bronx. The son of the late Salvatore and Lucy (Fitzpatrick) Dadabo. He served in the US Army from 1961 to 1963. He was employed by as a Senior Systems Programmer for many corporations throughout the years including General Foods, Hughes Aircraft, Grumman, Aflac and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Johnny was fun loving, the life of the party, kind, generous, and made everyone laugh with his humor and made everyone he met feel comfortable. Johnny enjoyed music and he played the drums and trumpet. He loved Big Band music and Italian food. He is survived by his beloved wife Angel (Bonfiglio) Dadabo, his step daughters, Vanessa Branda, Gloria Branda, his son Sal Dadabo and daughter in law Judy. Also surviving are his sisters, Sr. Theresa Dadabo and Catherine Letizia and his grandchildren Steven Branda, Joey Branda, Isiah Branda and Siani Branda. Friends may call on Friday from 3PM to 7PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 at Annunciation Church, 470 Westchester Ave., Crestwood. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
