Emil W. Alacchi Obituary

Emil W. Alacchi was born in the Bronx on October 4th, 1935 to Sicilian immigrant parents, Emil Alacchi Sr. And Concetta Cutroneo. Upon entering school, Emil only spoke Italian, yet became fluent in the English language. He was a self-taught man mastering the art of woodworking, car mechanics, and countless other trades. He was knowledgeable in every field and could fix anything. Emil was a true family man and embodied what a father figure should be, not only to his children but nieces and nephew as well. In 1957, he met the love of his life, Rosalie Ferraro. They were married in April 1961 and through that union he gained a second set of parents, his in-laws whom he adored —Joe and Susie Ferraro. Emil was predeceased by his brother Joseph. He is survived by his dedicated and loving wife, Rosalie, their two daughters, Lisa (Kris) and Susan (Billy), and his four beloved grandchildren, Alissa, Katie, Taylor, and Devin. He was cherished by us all and will be greatly missed leaving a void that can never be filled.
