Evelyn C. Atanasio, formerly a long time resident of Ossining died peacefully at home in Somers on August 15, 2010 at the age of 93. Mrs. Atanasio was born May 24, 1917 in Camden, NJ the daughter of the late Annibale and Cecilia (Della Santa) Cinelli. She was employed by Lescarboura Inc., Briarcliff Manor, NY as a Media Buyer. For many years she was a volunteer at Phelps Memorial hospital and was a Past President of St. Ann's Church Altar Guild. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Atanasio. Devoted mother of Cecilia Cavolo and Joanne Marien. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Carolyn) Cavolo and Christie (Brian) Orndorff. Dear great grandmother of Katherine, Thomas and Joseph Cavolo. Fond sister of Mae Forleo and Catherine Carbotti. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4PM to 7PM at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mount Kisco, NY. The funeral mass and interment will be private.
