Margaret Corvini, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on August 28, 2010, at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Corvini was born in the Bronx, NY on February 17, 1917, to Anthony and Madeline Fornabaio Mastronardi. She attended Yonkers Public Schools. Mrs. Corvini worked in various dress shops in Getty Square in Yonkers. She was also active in the School 23 P.T.A. She was a parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church in Yonkers for many years. She married Edmund J. Corvini in St. Anthony's Church on Willow Street in Yonkers on July 18, 1943. Mr. Corvini died in 1992. Mrs. Corvini is survived by a daughter, Rita Pasquale of Yonkers, a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Janet Corvini of Yonkers, four grandchildren: Ann-Marie Pasquale of Pleasantville, Patricia Pasquale of Eastchester, and Caitlin and Stephen Corvini of Yonkers, and a sister, Pauline McGinn. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue on Sunday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass at Mt. Carmel Church on Monday at 11AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
