Obituary of Robert (Buddy) Tolli Sr.

Robert Tolli, Sr. (Buddy) age 82 of Yonkers, NY where he was born and raised until recently moving to Mahopac to reside with his son Robert Junior. He was known as "Buddy" all his life, a name his family gave him as a child. He was born on September 5th 1928, the son of the late John and Antonetta Tolli. He survived by his loving wife of 56 years Maryanne (Azzolino) Tolli. They were married on February 21, 1954. He is survived by his son Robert Tolli of Mahopac and his loving daughter-in-law Evelyn Tolli and his precious grandchildren who were everything to him; Robert, Nicole, and Dina. He graduated from Saunders Trade School, was a veteran of the Korean War and First Vice Commander of the Donald Conrad Post 1954 American Legion, Yonkers, NY where he enjoyed numerous affairs. Bud was an operating engineer with Local 137 for many years in Westchester and worked with numerous contractors. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Cuozzo and Annie Mariani and six brothers; Dom, Tony, Joe Thalle, Louis, Carmine (Chaf), Amedeo (Bebe). He also had many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 Pm at the Sinatra Memorial Home 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11AM at Saint Bartholomew Church, Palmer Road, Yonkers. Interment Saint Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers.
