Alfred Tartaglione, a lifetime Yonkers resident, died peacefully on September 21, 2010 at the age of 86. For many years, he was employed by the City of Yonkers Department of Parks and Recreation. During World War II Alfred served in the U.S. Navy. Former husband of Palma (Rubeo) Tartaglione. Beloved father of Harry Tartaglione of Fishkill, NY. Joan (Kevin) Millen of Fairfield, Ct. and Jean (Fred) Daniele of Fairfield, Ct. Dear brother of Rose De Pietro and the late Harry, Dominick, Ernie, Louis, Patrick and Anthony Tataglione and Katie Maiolini, Tina Gencola and Angie Rubeo. Also survived by eight loving grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York on Friday September 24, 2010 from 2- 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Monastery Church on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
