Catherine T. Wright (Dellape), age 92, a lifelong resident of Yonkers died Saturday, December 11, 2010. Mrs. Wright was born September 16, 1918 in Yonkers, NY to the late Dominick and Theresa Dellape. She was educated and graduated from Franklin and Commerce High School. Mrs. Wright retired after 30 years in banking with North Side Savings Bank. She was Treasurer of the Queens Daughters Auxiliary, President of the St. Joseph's Medical Center Auxiliary and Ladies of Charity. She was also 20 years district Republican Leader and received a Certificate of Special Recognition. Beloved wife of the late James Wright. Devoted mother of James (Elise) Wright. Dear grandmother of Jenna (Jason) Wegiel and Mellisa Wright. Loving great grandmother of Jason, Marianna and James Wegiel. She is also survived by a sister in law Jean Ball and several nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by her daughter Teresa Wright, her sister Mildred Roma, her brother in law Joe Roma, and her brothers Daniel and Joseph Dellape. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave on Saturday from 9 to 11AM. The funeral will be Saturday at 12:00 at Mt Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Monastery, 86 Dromore Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583.
