John Daria of Yonkers, NY died peacefully February 5, 2011 at the age of 94. John, a WWII and Korean Navy Veteran, was a lifelong citizen of Yonkers, born on January 21, 1917. He had a variety of jobs but as he loved the outdoors, he worked many years as as a truck driver for Feuer Transportation. John is predeceased by his four brothers and his loving wife Rose (DeMartino) whom he adored. He is survived by his son Robert and his wife Athene, his daugher Lynette and her two sons John and James Dietter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Veterans Home or the Humane Society.
