Obituary of Abigail Alvarado

Abigail Alvarado, on March 21,2011, was called to heaven after 95 glorious years on earth. She lived through many generations of our family and embodied the image of a true matriarch. Her loves consisted of nurturing her family, attending church, cooking, and singing. She was a sister, wife, mother, aunt, friend and grandmother. She was also deeply devoted to the Catholic faith and instilled valuable morals and beliefs in every single person she cared for. She is survived by her 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Throughout her life, she has touched countless people in many ways and will always be remembered as a loving and endearing woman. Friends may call at the Sinatra Funeral Home, 315 S. Broadway, Yonkers from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral Mass Friday 11 AM at St. Peter's Church, Yonkers. Interment Oakland Cemetery.
