Lyda Smrcka, age 59, of Yonkers died peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Mrs. Smrcka was born September 20, 1951 in Lima, PERU the daughter of the late Arturo and Lyda (Tamariz) Garcia. A longtime resident of, Yonkers, N.Y. and Homemaker, she is survived by one daughter, Yamila Salazar Villanueva and two sons, Juan Carlos Lara Garcia of Bronx, NY, Geraldo Daniel Lara Garcia. She is also survived by two brothers, Jorge Garcia Tamariz, and Arturo Garcia Tamariz. In addition she is survived by a sister, Liliana Garcia De Lopez.Friends may call on Monday from 5 PM to 9 PM at Sinatra Funeral Home, Inc., 315 S. Broadway, Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Wednesday at 12:00 at Oakwood Cemetery, 304 Lexington Ave., Mt. Kisco. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Kisco., N.Y.
