Carmine Naccarato of Sarasota, Fla. and formerly of Pelham Manor, NY died peacefully at home on April 10, 2011 after a brief illness. Born in Paterno, Italy on July 23, 1931 to Francesco and Maria Naccarato, he was 79. Carmine was a very talented carpenter and artist and was a member of Carpenters Local 157. He traveled to Venezuela in 1955 and moved to Curacao shortly thereafter to work for six years, where he married Nella Giacinto from his hometown of Paterno. While waiting for his paperwork to be approved for entry into the United States, he spent another two years working in Switerland. In 1962 upon his arrival into the United States, he purchased a home in the Bronx, and after eight years he started a family and built a home in Pelham Manor where he lived most of his life. Carmine had two sons, Paolo and Claudio during this time. In 2002 he retired and moved to Sarasota with his wife Nella to unwind and relax. Carmine is survived by his wife, Nella, his brother, Antonio, his two sons, Paolo and Claudio and his grandchildren, Alessandro and Michael. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Wednesday (today) from 2-4PM & 7-9PM. Funeral mass at Annunciation Church on Thursday at 10:00AM.
