Edward J. Schad, age 86, of Yonkers died Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Mr. Schad was born May 16, 1924 in Bronx, NY the son of the late Walter and Helen (Connor) Schad. He served in the Navy from 1942 to 1946 during World War II. He was employed by Otis Elevator in Yonkers as a Mechanic. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Schad. Loving father of Dorothy Williams, June Francese and the late Nancy Schad. Dear grandfather of Steven Williams, Shanon DiDavide, Melissa DiDavide, Jessica DiDavide, Lisa Francese, Christopher Francese and Vickki Francese
Also surviving are 3 great grandchildren. Friends may call on Saturday from 2PM to 7PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 1:30 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, Route 25, Calverton, NY
