I can still hear Nona's voice and words of wisdom. I can still taste her amazing soup, and feel her warmth radiate as she stood.
I will never forget the lessons she taught me-- both knowingly and unknowingly.
Through knowing Nona, I feel that I have become a stronger, better person. I am so glad to have had the honor and pleasure of knowing her.
She will forever be inside my heart, and although I miss her terribly, I smile knowing that she is an angel with God now. However, I believe she was an angel all along. So, she didn't pass away, she just went home, leaving the touch of her wings on our hearts.
