Jean (Passeri) Mazzei, a longtime Yonkers resident died peacefully at home on April 27, 2011. Born on November 25, 1914 in Loreto Aprutino, Italy, she was 96. On October 24, 1936 she married her loving husband, Alphonse Mazzei. He predeceased her on July 28, 1978. Beloved mother of Elaine (Anthony) Sanseverino of Dobbs Ferry, NY, Linda (Claudio) Romani of Carmel, NY and the late John Mazzei. Dear sister of Helen Von Hagen and the late Alfred and Mario Passeri and Amy Swingale. Cherished grandmother of John Mazzei Jr., Nancy (Mazzei) Wong and Alan and Anthony Sanseverino and the late Christopher Sanseverino and greatgrandmother of Alan, Jennifer, Venus and Vanessa Sanseverino and Maizy Wong. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral mass at Mt. Carmel Church on Saturday at 10:00AM. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
