Lorraine, you were a PURE SOUL whose mission on earth was to model how to love. Your cute voice will forever echo in my heart with your words of love, joy, and spirituality. Lorraine, I know you will always be with us in Spirit, you are now with your daughter Rebecca and are Soaring with the Angels reaping the rewards you have earned. Till we meet again. Lorraine, My sister's BEST FRIEND and such a special person to our entire family. In the face of all your many challenges and struggles you never complained. Whenever I was in your company you'd always have a smile on your face and in turn you would make me smile. You were truly an inspiration to us all. You raised your son Gerry to be a wonderful and caring man. He will continue to make you proud for sure. I can remember during a recent visit with my sister you took the phone to say hello. To my "Big Sister Lorraine", How can I ever put into words what you have meant to me? It's so difficult to find the right words. You were always worried about me during my hard times instead of worrying about yourself. You were such an inspiration to me. No matter how much you were in pain you always knew how to put a smile on your face. Always making jokes even over the most serious conversations. Thank you for being a part of my life. I know we will meet again and when we do we can party (and bowl once again). I will think of you each and every day, as always. Love you and miss you forever, Evelina xoxoxoxo

I have traveled far and wide in my life. I have met many people of greatness and wisdom. But today I realize so keenly that I have never met a truer person than Lorraine. As a friend we bonded during a time when we were very young, and did not yet understand that life was a long journey. She was indeed a pure soul. No matter the challenges she faced in life, she was genuinely happy for others. This rare gift she had for never complaining, or begrudging others their own joy is what holds her head and shoulders above the rest. To Lorraine’s family; she loved you all so dearly and the source her great attitude and ability to see the positive in life comes from what you nurtured in her. Lorraine and I went to school together from StAnn's to Lincoln HS.After our children were born we would meet at the playground on Brewster Ave and reminice about our childhood while out children played together. I will always cherish those memories.She was a wonderful mother and a great person despite all the struggles she endured.May she rest in peace.
