Gino Vittoria, 84 of Blauvelt, NY formerly of Yonkers, NY died peacefully on May 4, 2011. He was born in Palena, Italy to Giovanni and Anna Vittoria on June 14, 1926. Gino worked as a mason in NYC and Westchester County for many years and was a member of Local 235 of the Mason's Tenders Union. Gino also was an active member of the Palenese Social Club. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Fausta and his four children; Anna Della Femine, Giannina Mongello, Joseph Vittoria and Gina Thomas. Also surviving are his dear sister, Mary DeAngelis and his brother, Taddeo Vittoria and his nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A brother, Mario Vittoria, predeceased him. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY on Friday from 2-4, + 7-9PM. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Monastery Church on Shonnard Place on Saturday at 10:30AM. Entombment at the Shrine of Memories of Ferncliff Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers contributions to the hospice of Rockland or Calvary Hospital.
