Arnold J. Giannini, age 88, of New Rochelle died Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Mr. Giannini was born November 7, 1922 in Bronx, NY the son of the late Vincenzo and Rose (Bonaventura) Giannini. He served in the Army during World War II from 1941 to 1945. He was employed by as a Mechanic for the US Postal Service on Gerard Ave in the Bronx until his retirement in 1976. Following his retirement from the post office , Arnold worked as a custodian for the Church and school of the Holy Spirit on University Avenue in the Bronx. He is survived by his beloved wife Irene (Scanlon) Giannini, his loving children Rosemary (John) Sweeney, Theresa (Joseph) Aniello, James (Maureen) Giannini and Joseph (Jeanette) Giannini. Dear brother of Florence Giannini. Also surviving are six loving grandchildren. Friends may call on Saturday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM and Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 at Church Of The Holy Spirit, 1960 University Ave, Bronx. Interment will be in Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla.
