Anthony Koumpias, age 80, of Bronxville died Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Mr. Koumpias was born August 15, 1930 in Chios, Greece. He served in the Army during the Korean war. He was employed by Ciba Geigy as a cafeteria manager, retiring in 1996. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife Helga (Wurster) Koumpias and one son George Koumpias. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 AM at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
