Obituary of Donald Swetz

Donald Swetz of Yonkers, NY passed away on December 4, 2011 at age 61 after a long illness. He was the son of the late Julia (Musial) and Alexander Swetz, Sr. and was born January 21, 1950 in Yonkers, NY. He attended Yonkers schools and was a graduate of Saunders Trade and Technical High School. He graduated from New York Institute of Technology and was an architectural technology teacher at Saunders Trade and Technical High School with over 20 years of service and retired in 2009. He was also an architect in private practice and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew Church. He is survived by his brothers, Alexander, Jr., Robert and Richard Swetz; and family and friends. Don enjoyed golf, fishing and his weekly game of pool with his friends. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. Funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew Church Friday December 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.
