For anyone who does not know me, I met Dennis when I was a 15 year old kid who was heading for destruction. Dennis was a great guy who went far beyond any norm to demonstrate his loyalty, friendship, & concern for those among him. I made a very regretful decision when I was 19 years old, as my brother and Dennis had a dispute of a sort and, although, I knew in my heart then that my brother was surely in the wrong and the reason for their dispute, I made the very detrimental decision to side with my brother. I was raised with the impression that "Blood is thicker than water!" and though that is true, in some instances friendship is brotherhood, thus, in a scenario as such both people were my brother. Nevertheless, I so regretfully, ruined my most valued friendship and I can honestly say without hesitation that I have lived with a very deeply-rooted disgust since. However, thankfully, I was able to realize my terrible mistake, and I was also able to message Dennis last summer expressing my total lack of responsibility to our friendship and I asked for his forgiveness, and he indeed messaged me back informing me of his forgiveness. I was also able to tell him that because of his being a part of my life, I have held onto so much of what he has given me. I went through many years of talking to him without him being there. To this very day I have yet to meet any person on this planet as great of a person as he. I was so sad to hear of his tragic situation. I know this could never help with the pain his loved ones feel, yet, that staement "The good die young" is as true as its structure. It is clear Dennis was a great man, thus, his service is needed by GOD. I do not even need to say rest in peace, as I am as sure as the daylight that he is now in direct knowledge of the definition of bliss, as GOD is there for those men of his sort. When Tristan last saw Dennis and congratulated him on his colors, he was wearing his new vest with his bottom rocker. He gave Dennis a hug and Dennis said to him, "I guess we're both moving up in the world." Well he's up there now watching over you Yvonne, and the rest of your family. Dennis, you will be missed by all who have ever known you.
