dearest Jose, Gloria, and my student Charlie,.....please accept my sympathy on the loss of your son and brother.......by reading of him in his obituary and the condolences, I have come to realize how much joseph resembles his father and mother and brother.....like jose and Gloria with warm greetings and even warmer special holy bread making new people on the block feel welcome.....like jose filling the air with the summer sounds of baseball, carving empty air into a community of neighbors ......and like Charlie always a greeting, a wave, .......a welcoming presence........somehow just the possibility of his presence made this neighbor feel safer........how great is your loss......how great his eternal rest......Eileen
