Gary J. Ivan, of Westbrook, Ct. and formerly of Yonkers, NY died peacefully on January 28, 2016 at the age of 59. For ten years Gary worked for Texaco in Harrison and then was employed by Con Edison as a crew chief for underground utilities in the Bronx. In his leisure time Gary enjoyed boating and relaxing on the beach. He was also a classic car enthusiast. Beloved son of Margaret E. (Pulick) and the late Joseph E. Ivan. Devoted brother of Susan (Kevin) O'Donoghue of Vermont. Cherished cousin of Chuck and Phylis Mason. Dear uncle of Brendan and Brian O'Donoghue and Laura and Jessica Mason. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Sunday (tomorrow) from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral mass at St. Ann Church on Monday at 11:00AM. Interment Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to the St. Jude Children's Hospital preferred.
