Edward A. Vicinanza of Spring Hill, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2016. Ed was born on September 19, 1926 to Anna and Felice Vicinanza in the Bronx. He went to trade school for dressmaking and went on to own several successful dress factories with his family. He served as a PFC in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946. He married Blanche (Bianca) Amato in 1952 and they had three children. He was a dedicated fraternalist - a member of the Royal Arcanum for over 45 years. Traveling throughout the United States and Canada sharing his love for the fraternal order and earning the love and respect of all that knew him. Ed was also a lover of sports and before moving to Florida was a huge of the NY Mets and NY Giants. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Blanche; his three children: his son, Philip and his wife Cindy of Phoenix, AZ, his son, Ed and his wife Elise of Chestnut Ridge, NY, and his daughter, Marianne and her husband Fred of Bronxville. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Bianca, Philip, Lauren, Eddie and Michael Vicinanza as well as two of his siblings, Lucy Troia of Las Vegas and Mary Vittello of Florida. He leaves behind nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren and hundreds of friends. In the 89 years on this earth he touched the lives of so many. His love for his family and for his country is what he leaves to all. Ed's life will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian burial at St. Anthony's Church in Yonkers on Friday, June 3rd and a burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla. Visiting will take place at Sinatra Funeral Home, Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:
