It was with great sadness that I learned of Ellie's passing; please accept my heartfelt condolences.
I will always remember Ellie fondly and have wonderful memories of many times spent with her during our younger years. She was my dear friend, classmate, and neighbor growing up on Greene Place. Ellie's door was always open to have a cup of coffee while our kids played together.
I know Ellie leaves behind a wonderful family, and I know they will be a great source of comfort and support to one another.

Ellie, through our tears, our memories will make us smile. We've had some wonderful times together, The only thing hard about moving south was leaving you and Rick. Can't wait till we're all together again. We'll shake the heavens!

A beautiful smile, a contagious laugh and a wonderful heart. Ellie was blessed with the gift of selfless giving. Ellie loved flowers and music. We would often see her crouched down working on the flowers by her home, even when we knew she was in pain. We remember singing with her and Rick years ago as she played the piano. God bless you Ellie. You will light up heaven.

Although we live many miles away in the UK Ellie was a great friend and will be sadly missed. We really enjoyed visiting with her and Rick on our visits to the USA when we always went to the Stroudsmoor Inn for Lunch. We would arrive at the house in Sciota and Ellie never understood “We don’t need anything to eat when we arrive as we are going for lunch” as there was always food ready for us. She was a fantastic host. We have great memories of her and Rick visiting us in the UK and we know the people she met here will be saddened by news of her passing as we are.
Rest in peace.

We will miss our sister-in-law Ellie. We didn’t see her often but when we did it was as if no time had passed. She always made you feel at home. She loved taking us to the flea market even when she had to use a walker. I don’t know how she did it never complaining even though the road was bumpy. We are sad she is gone but are comforted that her years of pain are finally over. God bless you and Rest In Peace. Love Deb and Lance

Throughout my life i would always run into people who knew my mom..and everyone would always tell me how nice, and/or helpful she was to them...i have been very fortunate to be raised by such a kind, friendly, strong, supportive, beautiful woman...she will be missed by many.. but missed even more by her immediate family, who got to experience her kindness on its deepest level

Ellie was the best grandma, mother, and mother in law anyone ever could have asked for. She was so loving and giving, and fun,our family was so blessed. She accepted struggle as part of life and did not let it diminish her ability to share love and caring for everyone she met. I already miss her so much, but am so relieved for her to not be in pain. I will be looking for her in the soft breezes. Toodoloo Eleanor. Until we meet again. <3
