Grandpa,
Thank you for always being there, even if you couldn't be there physically. Its hard to accept that you are gone, but I'm so happy you are finally at rest. I will never forget going to your house relaxing on the deck eating arroz con gandules, and cracking jokes, talking about the future, sharing memories. It's the little things that I will hold close to my heart. Although you are gone I know you are always with me.. just like you use to tell me, us white Puerto ricans are the rarest of our kind, and the strongest.
