Obituary of Domingo Mendez

Domingo , (Dominick ) Mendez , 75 , of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his home. Born August 4 , 1942 , in Aguadilla , Puerto Rico , he was the son of the late Juan and Katherine Mendez. Domingo often recited his favorite bible verse , First Corinthians 13:13 says, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." He loved the Lord God with all his heart and soul . From his faith he loved all people. He enjoyed telling everyone he met about his own personal miracles and he shared his love of God and life with everyone. Domingo lived life to the fullest . He would've shared his home with anyone who needed a hand. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. He enjoyed cars . Often being referred to as the "Ultimate Driver ". Domingo was an extremely hard working man. He loved to build and constuct and get involved with any projects going on. Cherished and survived by his wife , Virginia Mendez , daughters, Laura Bono (Matthew), Lisa Peters(Bruce), Lynn Comizio(Robert), Sons, Dominick Mendez , William Mendez , Leslie Mendez(Andrea), Daniel James . Stepfather to Lolita Vega and Moses Vega . Grandchildren , Lisa Brady, Joan Pineiro , Rose Madison , Stephanie Wisniewski , Bruce Peters Jr. , Stephen Peters, Jennifer Diaz, Laura Dick, Robert Comizio Jr. , Carmine Comizio, Dominick Snyder, Enio Siracusa, Amber Mendez , Matthew Mendez, John Mendez, Madalena Mendez, Emily Mendez, Ashley Mendez, Josh Mendez, Michael Mendez and 22 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents , he was predeceased by a daughter , Lana Marie Mendez , and granddaughter Cheryl Lynn Mendez Domingo will forever be loved and missed by his family and friends .
