As many know she struggled with Alport Syndrome, which causes kidney failure. She was the recipient of organ donation, which allowed her to be here with us longer. Graciously and humbly she too became an organ donor. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Carmen's memory to The National Kidney Foundation. www.kidney.org
