I know that --- during all those years when Phil, Kiki, and I were commuting on the train to our respective jobs in New York City --- other grumpier commuters secretly envied us. Phil, with that perpetual twinkle in his eye, always had an informative, entertaining, or thought-provoking story to regale us with ... we talked and laughed the whole way to and from Grand Central Station, and 50 minutes felt like five. Those were the days. Phil, we love you still.
