I was going through my Army Basic Training yearbook the other day and came across my good friend Tom during our 3 months at Fort Dix New Jersey in 1963.What a great Guy ! So sorry to learn of his passing.

I will always remember how clearly you would always say “Te quiero Mucho” (love you very much) after every phone call. When I first met him he used to tell me that he could tell the weather by his aches and pains. I realized after many years later that he was absolutely right. Rest In Peace, “Te quiero mucho”

I’ve been teaching at PS 46 for over 20 years. I usually stopped at the local Deli where Tom as ,we all called him, always greeted everyone with a big smile. He often spoke to me telling me how his granddaughter who attended PS 46 was doing. It was always a pleasure seeing him there. His last words as we said good bye was, “nice seeing you, take care “. I can’t say enough, Tom was a lovely soul. I know he has a place in heaven. I was truly honored to have met Tom. May he Rest In Peace

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Although I did not know Tom well I will always carry the memory of his warm hellos and thoughtful words every morning before I went to work. He was a sweet person who always had a smile and kind words. He will be missed by many in the community.

So sad to hear about Tom's passing. He was very much a part of our PS 46 community for many years. He was there for big things and small things! He chaperoned many school trips and made sure every September, we had the special heavy duty tape to hang up the many posters. Of course, Tom was there every morning greeting us warmly at the store. Rest in Peace dear Tom. You will be missed.
