Obituary of Thomas J. Polesovsky

Thomas J. Polesovsky born April 29, 1939, in Bronx, New York to Mary (Zenko) and Louis Polesovsky. Thomas served in the U.S. Army from 1963-65 and while stationed in Germany he met and married Irmgard Koschei, a widower. Once discharged from the Army, he resettled in the Bronx with Irmgard and her five children. They had four children together. He leaves behind his two sisters, Theresa Ste. Marie and Rosemary Mazza, four children,
Christine Monteleone (Pete), Thomas Jr. (Melissa), John (Maria), Christopher (Sabine), his four stepchildren, 13 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and all those who called him "Pop." He is predeceased by one stepson, one grandson, and his brothers and sisters. Thomas loved fishing, dancing the polka and merengue, and listening to his old country music. He also enjoyed raising his birds and fish.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Thomas' name.
