Daniel A Schiavone, passed away suddenly on Tuesday October 15, 2019. Dan was born on August 21, 1945 to the late Daniel and Anne Schiavone in Yonkers, NY. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1969 and also served as a Harrison Police Officer where he retired from in 1986. Dan is survived by his loving and devoted wife Donna, and their 4 children Tami, Chris Montero (Marquetta), Anthony Montero (Laura), Donna Cutter (Steve). He was lovingly called "Pop Pop" by his 9 grandchildren, Nicole, Jackie, Christopher, Daniella, Jeremy, Natalia, Charlotte, Francesca and Melina. Dan is also survived by his loving sister Roberta Pasqua, and is predeceased by his brother in law Gary Pasqua. Dan loved to play golf, roulette, and watch old TV shows. He will always be remembered for his giving and selfless nature, love and affection for his grandchildren, and his unfiltered ability to make people laugh. Always first to tell a joke and armed with an arsenal of comebacks that made you wonder how one could be so quick witted. Dan will forever be in all our hearts and missed tremendously. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you would consider a donation to the American Heart Association or the Hudson Valley Make-A-Wish foundation.
