I worked with Jan for close to ten years. She was always there to help, teach, and explain. I will miss her laugh, kindness, and seeing her everyday.
My friend is a priest, and will offer his mass on May 7th for Jan, and for the peace of her family.

I met Jan in 2007 when I first started working at Merrill Lynch in White Plains. I sat at the desk in front of hers and she quickly took me under her wing. Always there to help and answer the many questions I had. Some of the things she taught me I still utilize to this day. I remember an occasion where someone treated me unkindly and she took them head on. She told them how dare they speak to me like that. That was the type of person Jan was, she never shied away from calling people out. She was also kind and generous. When my husband was ill and in the hospital she made me dinner so I wouldn’t have to run home and make a meal for my kids. I know she loved and cared for family so much and it saddens me that she has been taken way too soon from them. Rest In Peace Jan you are with the angels now.

Jan was the 1st person to welcome me to Crestwood. She lived down the street from me. I can vividly remember one sunny day while out on my front lawn soon after moving in to our new home, Jan drove by and stopped ! She yelled out a friendly hello. We chatted a short while and by the end of our conversation she had convinced me that I should coach at Annunciation!! Rest In Peace Jan. Al, Tommy, Mary, and Mikey we will keep you in our prayers.

Jan was a huge part of Annunciation for many years. She coached softball, restarted ladies guild and opened the first snack
bar at basketball games. She was a super fan of both basketball and cheerleading. She was the person who made the athletic department run smoothly. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Most of all she loved her family. She was taken much to early. Tommy, Mary, Mikey and Al, our thoughts and prayers are with you. During high school and through my colleges years through now, Jan or as I called her mom has always been a second mother to me. My heart goes out to Tom; who I went to high school with, and Mary and Mikey who became my little brother and sister as well. I worked with Jan for the past 10 years. She was always very kind and we had many nice conversations. Jan was also very sweet to my daughter and bought Girl Scout cookies every year.
