C'est avec beaucoup de tristesse que nous exprimons nos plus sincères condoléances à tous les proches de Giovanni et particulièrement à sa femme, ses enfants et petits-enfants.
Nous aurions aimé le connaitre davantage mais nous avons eu beaucoup de chance de le voir en France en 2015 puis aux Etats-Unis en 2019. A ces deux reprises, nous avons pu ressentir l'amour de sa famille ; une magnifique famille qui occupait dans son coeur une place très importante.
Nous vous témoignons toute notre affection et vous accompagnons par la pensée dans ces moments difficiles.
Giovanni laissera un grand vide mais également une belle et grande famille, unie par les valeurs qu'il a transmises.

Nonno, as painful as it is for you to leave us I am so happy we had you in our lives as long as we did. I will always cherish the times we've shared and the great memories we made. I will look back on the childhood memories of trips to Tibbetts, the countless hours spent in the sandbox you built for us, the little plastic pool you set up for us every Sunday in the summer hours before we would get there so the water would warm up in the sun (no matter what it did to the grass :P ), and walking us to Gorton so we can ride our bikes around the track (just to name a few). I am grateful for the emphasis you always put on family and traditions that I will be sure to pass on to my children and grandchildren. Whether it was a "small" Sunday lunch or a full blown 6 hour holiday dinner that started at noon the joy on your face having us all together laughing and smiling is something I'll never forget. I know you'll be up there with a glass of wine and an endless plate of clams laughing and catching up with the countless loved ones we previously lost. Nicholas and Jillian love you and will definitely miss the love you had for them and the extra cookie or 2 you always made sure they had. I know you'll be watching down smiling with all of us through the good times and lifting us through the bad. I love you

Nonno, you will be missed dearly by so many! You are one of a kind and I will miss your presence at family functions.
