Please share a memory of Bahjat to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bahjat Hanna Rabadi was a magnanimous person, who lived a full and happy life filled with precious memories and moments that we all would be lucky to experience a fragment of. He lived an abundant yet simple life that was rich beyond expectation with his family, faith, and friends as the foundation. He was born in Ajloun, Jordan to Hanna and Helaleh Rabadi. He was the eldest of 11 children, eight brothers and two sisters. As the oldest brother, he took his duties and love for his siblings to the highest level. His devotion and compassion continued when he met the love of his life, his soulmate, Firyal Naber. The two formed their glorious union on August 23,1968 and later moved to Venice, Italy. In Venice, Bahjat discovered his love for this city, that he described as the most beautiful place on earth where you are transported to a different time and everything stands still. While in this wondrous city, Bahjat attended the University of Advanced Studies of Trieste, where he earned a doctorate in Political Science. His desire and thirst for knowledge was unquenchable. He had a passion for history, poetry, music and the arts; he truly was a Renaissance man. This was the time he experienced some of the happiest moments in his lifetime and where he and his wife started their family. He leaves three sons, Ariq, Ala, and Michael, one daughter, Leyana, and seven grandchildren, Lana, Matthew, Michael, Socrates, Angelina, Isabella, and Alexa. What gave him the greatest joy was providing for his children and grandchildren. Bahjat's faith and love for God was unshakable. Whenever he read the Scripture and sang at church, his words resonated powerfully with all and filled everyone's hearts and souls with the same love for God that he possessed. His naturally selfless ways allowed him to be a genuine friend, who was always willing to help those in need without hesitation. Bahjat had the ability to enter any room and illuminate it with his undeniable charismatic personality. His smile was truly infectious, holding no bounds, and bringing pure bliss to all. Knowing this, there is no doubt that the heavens are that much brighter with their new angel.
