Friends since seventh grade. Partners in crime. There for each other through good times and bad....no matter what, we always had each others backs. I can’t believe we won’t be meeting for dinner, talking about our pride and joys and laughing so hard remembering the past. You will always be in my heart. I will miss you forever! You were the most genuine and caring person I know, with one of the most amazing smiles ever!!! Jason was lucky to have you as his mom, he is everything he is today because of you. I love you girl! Forever Love to one of the best souls I have ever met in my life. My heart is breaking, but heaven gained an amazing angel. Making fun of each other (but mostly my dad), sharing tequila shots or Guinness, going to Night Nation Run, and our personal talks. Just some of the memories I will cherish forever. You were like another big sister to me and you called me your little brother. I love you and will miss you Lena. Rest In Peace.

My first meeting with Lena was as a good neighbor. She was always pleasant as a child and as a young adult and as a mom. I will miss her smile.

Dear Jason and the entire D’Emilio family: It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing this note. We cannot put into words how sorry we were to hear of the loss of beautiful Lena. We will always remember her beautiful smile, her thoughtful caring ways, and her heart of gold. She was a loving, sweetheart of a person, a treasure to our family, a “Sister” to me, and I will forever miss her. I will also always remember what an amazing mom she was to Jay. How blessed and lucky we feel to have ever known her. Heaven has certainly gained an angel. Our hearts are so broken, and our condolences are with you during this most difficult time.
